Robert M. Long

Robert M. Long, late son of Joseph and Vera Long and nephew of Thomas J. Long, served as a Regent of University of the Pacific from 1981 until 1995. In his tenure as the CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board of Longs Drug Stores, Mr. Long remained a committed supporter of the pharmacy profession and was instrumental in providing scholarships for thousands of Pacific pharmacy students. This scholarship was established in memory of the legacy of Mr. Long at his passing in 2014
