Thomas J. and Muriel Long

Thomas J. Long, co-founder of Longs Drug Stores, and his wife Muriel had many ties to the University, which motivated them to create this endowment. Muriel is an alumna of the University and Tom served on the Board of Regents. Their daughter, Sidne, is also an alumna of College of the Pacific. Their commitment to supporting pharmacy education is demonstrated by these scholarships which are awarded to incoming students who exhibit leadership qualities and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above
