Health Professions Pathways/HCAI Scholarship for Speech-Language Pathology

These 5 scholarships worth $15,000 each are specifically for 1st year 24-month graduate speech-language pathology students. These awards are to help support students in pursuing graduate degrees in SLP who plan to stay in California post-graduation and work in medically underserved communities.

  3. Do you come from a disadvantaged background socially or economically?
  4. Please write a short essay (less than one page) detailing how this award can support you in your desire to earn a MS in SLP and serve those in California in high needs areas.
  5. Please note that some/all of the information you include in the application and essay could be used in public announcements, newsletters, social media posts, etc. Including this information in the application gives us permission to be able to utilize it these manners.
  6. Note: If you are borrowing up to the cost of attendance for the academic year, your graduate PLUS loan may be reduced by the amount of the scholarship.
